This is the tfl-approved fanlisting for playing computer/video games. Why make a fanlisting for this? I've been gaming since I was 4 years old, starting on the Colecovision, and it's been my favorite hobby and an integral part of my life since then. Video games allow people to escape into fantasy, much like books and movies do, except with games, you play a part in what happens - the outcome is always variable depending on you. In addition, games help hone perceptive skills and hand-eye coordination, as well as problem-solving abilities. In certain cases, games can even serve as valuable exercise or training for real world occupations! This fanlisting is called "Immersion" due to gaming's ability to immerse someone in an entirely different world and let them be a real part of it. If you're a die-hard gamer like me, a casual player, or just like the idea of gaming, go ahead and join!
